AVAT Website Goes Live

Delighted to see the website for AVAT Ltd., a leading audio visual company, go live this morning.

AVAT provide a range of audio visual design, integration and installation services from their base near Basingstoke in Hampshire.

The company works with a wide range of organisations in both the public and private sector to deliver a range of professional audio visual products and services such as:

• Sophisticated digital signage
• Video conferencing
• Projection systems
• Interactive displays
• AV Control systems 

Having a strong in-house design and project management capability means that they get commissions from significant clients such as: Google, Holiday Inn and Vodafone

Perhaps the best illustration of this is the work they did for BBC Worldwide in turning the already eye-catching "Globe" installation into a show-piece audio visual display.  A real Wow factor.

The website has been designed by Mary Jephcott at MJ Design and built by Mark Bonnett at Horlor IT.  Arrowsmith has had a bit of hand in it too.

Great YE day at the Wolvo Trade Fair

"Imagine", Stourbridge King Edward VI College's Young Enterprise (@ye_westmidlands) company for 2012, had an excellent day at the Black Country trade fair at the Wulfrun Centre in Wolverhampton on Saturday 17th March.

The team set out a fantastic stall with a dramatic "split personality".  On one side the girls had created a very fashionable area to display a range of hand-made jewellery.  On the other side camouflage netting and combat fatigues provided a military look to promote the boys' survival bands and key rings.

Both sides of the Stourbridge YE team  showed off excellent selling skills to entice shoppers to the stall and generate plenty of purchases.

An excellent display of team work and motivation. This group makes the job of business mentor really easy.

Somerset Architect - New Client

Arrowsmith is delighted to be working with Somerset architects practice Cooper & Co.

Cooper & Co. based in Somerton, near Glastonbury, specialise in innovative design work on both new build and renovation projects.  The company works with residential, commercial and industrial clients, and although much of the work is in the South West of England the business has completed projects around the UK and overseas.

Nigel Cooper has an interesting approach. "I like to deal with people with imagination: to help people realise their ideas in the physical world and create a great quality of life."

We'll be making some changes to the website to increase it's chances of ranking for important keywords and helping Cooper & Co. to voice its approach to architecture in the most compelling way possible.
