King Ed's Stourbridge, Young Enterprise - Great Start

"Imagine",  this year's Young Enterprise company at King Edward VI 6th form College in Stourbridge got off to a great start with the publication and sale of "Insight: An inside guide to King Ed's".

The guide is being sold during two open evenings at the College where prospective students and their parents get to look around and find out more about the different A Level courses on offer.

"Insight" provides various views on College life from the perspective of both current and former students including Laura, who is now the proprietor of Stourbridge shop "Polka Dot Paradise".
The articles succeed in providing a student focused view of what King Ed's is like: all positive but not too gushing.  They touch on the difficulties in making the transition from GCSEs to A Levels but also point out the range of interesting enrichment activities available.  One of which is the intriguing "Muggle Quidditch".

Sales of Insight on the first open evening looked very strong.  What is just as impressive though is the amount of money raised through advertising.  The Imagine team were highly proactive in seeking out advertising and succeeded in getting support from a number of well known Stourbridge businesses.

As always a big thanks to everybody who supported King Ed's Young Enterprise.

The Imagine team are now turning their attention to developing a set of products that they can produce ready for Christmas and a series of Trade Fairs in the early part of 2012.
