Penny Power's excellent new book on the phenomenon of Social Networking,
"know me, like me, follow me" has just been launched.
It provides an excellent insight into the power of SN as a business tool and for fun. Unlike some of the other books on the market it is a story rather than an instruction book or user guide. Because it is a personal encounter with the subject the book is very engaging and, I guess, it is easier to learn the key lessons as a result.
Penny's credentials are impressive. She is one of the co-founders of
Ecademy, which is a pretty successful site and a very effective speaker on business issues (she was a guest speaker at the National B2B Centre conference in 2008). The book isn't a puff-piece for Ecademy though. It is a well rounded review of lots of tools and techniques.
I was delighted to be asked to review it in advance and even more delighted that my name appears on a list of testimonials!
